The Community Music School invites you to enjoy a pre-concert English Tea.   At this benefit reception there will be a variety of teas paired with scones, quiches, proper English sandwiches, and more sweet and savory delicacies. This event will have live music from the School's youth ensembles and feature keynote speaker Oliver Ragsdale Jr.  Our collaborative Strung Together in Hope concert to follow reception.

The event—Strung Together in Hope—will bring together both young and seasoned community musicians in a rare instrumental presentation of Thomas Tallis’ Spem in Alium, as well as feature original works from masters such as Bach and Vivaldi, and lesser known composers such as the Afro– British composer Samuel Coleridge Taylor.
