Part-Time Piano Instructor and Suzuki Piano Instructor Positions

The Ann Arbor School for the Performing Arts is seeking a piano instructor and a suzuki certified piano instructor starting immediately. Saturday teaching availability is highly desirable.

Piano Instructor

Candidates should be extremely organized and have experience teaching students of all ages with a broad range of abilities and backgrounds in both private and group class settings. Candidates should have a strong classical background with a minimum of a Masters Degree in music performance or education, or equivalent experience is preferred.

Successful candidates will join a team of teachers committed to teaching at the highest level, and will have the opportunity to become a full-time instructor as time, demand, and scheduling constraints allow. Performance opportunities may also be possible for those with strong performance experience. Compensation will be awarded according to qualifications and experience.

Suzuki Piano Instructor

AA-SPA is seeking a part-time Suzuki Piano Instructor starting immediately. Applicants should possess a minimum of a master’s degree in piano performance, have a dedication to the Suzuki philosophy, have been trained in a minimum of 2 books by a SAA recognized teacher trainer, and have a minimum of four years teaching experience with children of all ages.
